In our society today, many people and a handful of families are challenged on how to effectively balance mental health related issues and where to solicit mental health care and wellness. The persistence of daily socio-economic problems affecting persons and families, and the conjugal issues within marital homes are increasingly causing myriad of forms of mental issues which consequently lead to tendencies of substance dependence and which of course overdue dependence becomes an abuse (substance abuse). This problem in our society threatens not just our welfare but that of our children as the result is hardship and misery on one hand and broken homes on the other hand. These circumstances distort life and hurt family members who now struggle with varying mental problems and possible substance dependence. LIVING VINE has come in to fill the gap by offering families the opportunity for a mental health promotion, prevention and treatment through supportive care and assistance to loved ones who are mentally disabled and to maintain recovery while advocating for the society to accept and help them to be useful members of the family and community.
